Sporting Achievement

Morisset Public School would like to give special congratulations to two of our students who have excelled in their given sports over the past couple of weeks.

River Byrnes was successful in making the zone team for Rugby League. He attended the Hunter trials and although unsuccessful in making it to the next level, he represented our school with great sportsmanship and pride.

Tiarna Fleming was successful in gaining selection in the Westlakes PSSA netball team. The zone trials were very competitive and lots of students from across the zone attempted to gain selection. She will now attend the Hunter trials later this week. We wish her well.

We congratulate all of the students at our school who have had the confidence to try out for any sporting team this year.
