PBL Recognition Day - Silent Disco

On Friday June 28 1019, students that had earned a token, were able to use it to attend a silent disco.

As part of our Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL)  program, students recieve stars that they then paste into their star card book. Once they reach 30 stars they get to choose a prize and are given a token. Students that had earnt a token, were invited to the silent disco.

A silent disco is an event at which people dance to music that is transmitted through wireless headphones rather than played over a speaker system. There were three different music stations to choose from and headphones display a colour, to let their friends know what everyone is listening too.

The students and teachers had a great time dancing away to new pop, disney tunes and even old classics like The Macarena.

Our next Recognition Day plans to be even bigger.
