Today student reports were sent via the Sentral portal.
Reporting Update:
In line with the DoE updates to the reporting to parents procedures, student academic reports are now digital. Digital reports no longer require teacher or principal signature, the report will be a two-page document, and the grading word sound has been replaced with expected.
Parents who are already accessing Sentral will automatically have access to their child’s academic reports and will have received notification today that reports have gone live. If you are not using Sentral, please contact the school for a registration code or for further assistance. Our office staff are more than happy to guide you through the process.
If you would like a paper copy of your child/children’s report, please contact the office and we can accommodate this.
Interview Update:
The Sentral for Parents App will also be the place you can book Term 3 parent-teacher interviews. These will take place on Thursday 31st July from 3:30 – 5:00pm with bookings opening on Tuesday 22nd July. We are going to trial a new interview format and will be adopting a snapshot style approach, where each parent will have a 10-minute interview slot. The purpose of this format is to streamline the interview process, allowing us to efficiently access a larger number of parents while still providing an opportunity for meaningful conversations focused on 2 areas - social and academic progress. Should anyone require a follow up time to discuss higher needs, teachers are more than willing to accommodate those requests after these snapshot interviews.
